Like all major cities, even London has a zoo. London Zoo opened back in April 27, 1828 but then the idea was that it would be used for scientific studies. But finally opened its doors to the public in 1847. 1938 opened the children's zoo. Today there are over 750 different animal species and about 17,000 animals. 1991, London Zoo threatened with closure due to poor economy, but because people wanted the zoo left of visitors began to increase and even donations.  Tiger Territory
March 20, 2013 opened the London Zoo's new Tiger Territory. Here lives the two Sumatran Tigers Jae Jae and Melati. Sumatran Tigers are endangered and today is said to be only about 300 left in the wild. Jae Jae and Melati are paired, from two different parts of the world to hopefully reproduce. Any hope for small tiger cubs shortly.
The former tiger country has been rebuilt and expanded. Now they have about 2,500 square meters to move on. It has designed the fence so that it will fit tigers need to move, climb, and they've also got their own pool. Tigers are probably one of the most beautiful felines, so come and see them eye-to-eye.

 Gorilla Kingdom

 Aquarium
